Poker Holdem Hand

1. RULES

Accumulating money is the object of Texas Holdem poker.

Money will be obtained by winning the pot, just as it would in any other variant of poker all the bets that will be made during the course of a hand.

There are two ways to have won the pot:

1.Be the last remaining player.

2.Poker players will be folding and forfeiting their interest in the pot during the play of a hand.

3.If you are the last remaining player then you will win the pot.

4.Having the highest-ranking hand.

5.There will be a showdown if more than one poker player is left when the last round of betting is over.

6.The contents of the hands are shown by all the poker players that remain.

7.You will win the pot if you are holding the highest-ranking hand.

A hand in Holdem

Every poker player will be dealt two cards face down (pocket cards), at the beginning of a hand.

A total of five additional cards will be laid open (exposed), in the center of the table in three stages during the play of the hand, this will create the board.

The flop – terminology used for the first three exposed poker cards.

The turn – a term used for the fourth card.

The river – the term used for the fifth as well as the last card.
