Five Draw
Sample Hand
OPENING DEAL:
- PLAYER 1: 6♦, K♦, 4♦, A♥, 5♦
- PLAYER 2: K♠, 8♥, 7♥, 5♥, 6♠
- PLAYER 3: 4♠, 4♥, 2♣, 2♠, 10♣

- PLAYER 6: 9♥, 8♣, 6♥, 4♣, 2♦
Betting: Stakes are $1/$2. This kind of denomination is common at a low-level casino table. The game is played with anyone able to open the betting strategy.
- PLAYER 1: Bets with a four-flush and two high cards.
- PLAYER 2: Calls with an open-ended four-straight
- PLAYER 3: Raises in poker with two pairs.
- PLAYER 4: Calls with a pair of Queens.
- PLAYER 5: Calls with a pair of Kings.
- PLAYER 6: Folds with nothing.
- PLAYER 1: Calls the raise.
- PLAYER 2: Calls the raise.
DRAW:
- PLAYER 1: Discards A♥ in the hopes of drawing a flush.
- PLAYER 2: Discards K♠ in the hopes of drawing a straight.
- PLAYER 3: Discards the 10♣ in the hopes of getting a full house. (However, most players will assume he is going for a flush or a straight.)
- PLAYER 4: Draws to the pair of Queens.
- PLAYER 5: Draws two cards to the pair of Kings and holds on to the A♠ as the kicker. Some might dispute this logic, since holdings on to kickers makes more sense with a low pair.
AFTER THE DRAW:
- PLAYER 1: He got it! He drew the J♦ and has a flush:
6♦, k♦, 4♦, 5♦, j♦
- PLAYER 2: Got the straight:
8♥, 7♥, 5♥, 6♠, 9♣
- PLAYER 3: No help.
4♠, 4♥, 2♣, 2♠, 7♣
- PLAYER 4: No help
Q♥, Q♠, 8♦, 7♠, 3♠
- PLAYER 5: No help
K♣, K♥, A♠, Q♣, 3♥
Betting:
- PLAYER 1: Bets big with a strong poker hand.
- PLAYER 2: Calls the bet.
- PLAYER 3: Flds. Since both player 1 and player 2 drew one card, and both bet he figures at least one of them has a better hand than two low pairs.
- PLAYER 4: Folds with a pair.
- PLAYER 5: Folds with a pair.
WINNER:
PLAYER 1 with a flush.
