If the faced-up trump is a numeral card, the dealer offers it for sale, as above, before any player looks at his poker hand . whether it is sold or not, it must be left face up on the table. The player to the dealer’s left then faces up his top card; and this continues in rotation to the left, around and around, until a higher trump than the faced one is turned. The purchaser of the original trump does not face any cards until the trump is beaten. If a better trump shows, it is offered for sale, as above; and the rest of the unfaced cards in the hands are turned face up one by one, until a better trump shows, or all have been exposed. The holder of the best trump at the end takes the pot.
