Draw Poker High Spades
This is a side bet between two or more players that one will hold a higher-ranking spade card than any of the other players in his first five cards dealt. Players announce the approximate value of their hands for example; a player says, “I have a low spade.” The other player says, “I have a high spade,” then shows it to all the players betting on spades. The reason for this is not to expose too many cards. Although spades is a popular bet at Draw Poker, it often exposes a hand of a player, and gives other players, not betting on spades, a slight advantage in the game.
Showdown Straight Poker
In this variation of Draw Poker, which is also called Cold Hands, the only betting is done before the cards are dealt, as if anteing into the pot. All other rules are identical to those for Draw Poker variations .

Fives and Tens
Also called St. Louis Draw or Woolworth Draw, this game is played as regular Draw Poker except that all fives and tens are wild cards. But, to open the first round of betting, a player must hold at least one five and one ten in his hand as openers. (The game cannot be opened if a online poker player holds all four five spots, but does not have a ten.) If no player has the minimum openers a five and ten the deal passes, the players ante again, and new hands of five cards are dealt. This procedure is repeated until someone has the necessary openers. While the obtaining of the necessary openers may appear difficult to achieve, in reality, there are no more passes in this game than in standard jack pots. Once the pot is opened standard draw rules are followed. Since there are possibly eight wild cards in the game, a high four of a kind is the average winning hand, but straight flushes and five-of-a-kind occur frequently
